UNICEF- United Nations International Children Emergency Fund
The United Nations Children’s Fund – “For Every Child”
For more than 70 years, UNICEF has worked to improve the lives of children and families. Despite the challenges of working in the world’s toughest places, UNICEF staff fight for the rights of every child seeking safe shelter, nutrition, protection from disaster/conflicts, and equality.
UNICEF works in over 190 countries/territories to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. UNICEF supports children’s health/nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and protection of children/adolescents from violence and exploitation.

The COVID-19 pandemic has upended the lives of children and their families across the globe. UNICEF is working with experts bringing reliable guidance to parents, caregivers and educators, and partnering with front-line workers to ensure they have the information and resources they need to keep children healthy and learning.
