He is the president of a law office with its principal office in Dallas, Texas. His areas of expertise are immigration law, international law, litigation and aviation. He has been practicing law since 1972.
His family was instrumental in establishing the United Nations educational program in the high schools in Texas in the early 1960’s, he along with her mother then conducted the programs on UN activity and policy at Southern Methodist University in the mid 1960’s. During the early 1960’s they were involved in desegregating SMU and were involved in the civil rights movement in the United States.
While in high school he earned private pilots license and continued flying while in school at SMU getting his commercial and instrument licenses. He incorporated a small charter airline starting the air ambulance service in Texas and owned the ground ambulance service serving his city for transfer of non-emergency patients. While in law school the air service added maintenance for other aircraft and started air rescue from the oil fields along with charter for international travelers and dignitaries needing air transportation to places not serviced by the airlines.
During this time He and his family were lecturing about issues concerning nuclear energy waste disposal, climate change and the coming water crisis. He made trips to New York to the UN to speak to representatives and diplomats. His interest in international work continued after he graduated from law school. His first international client was a Norwegian shipping company. He represented the sailors and the owner dealing with numerous issues. The immigration area became something of a subspecialty of mine at this time and he went to China to represent an Australian company setting up manufacturing operations.
He has worked in Thailand, Hongkong, the Middle East , Mexico and the United States. He married a wonderful Danish lady in 1971 and has enjoyed visiting Denmark ever since.
He has tried to give a flavor to the direction his life has taken. In the 77 years He has been on this interesting planet he has had many other international experiences and been in many other businesses but always practiced law with his firm in Dallas.
He has been general counsel for an oil company and is now engaged in helping with an international aviation company hoping to provide large aircraft with engines and other parts on a temporary lease basis.
