Life Bridge International and IIPL Joint Medical Camp and Distribution of Food in Flood Affected Areas of Sindh

Institute of International Peace Leaders, Life Bridge International and Department of Health Hayderabad, Government of Sindh have jointly organized a large scale medical camp and distribution of cooked food in flood affected local refugees of rural areas of Hayderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Dr. Amna Buttar, a Volunteer Advisor to Life Bridge USA – International disaster relief organization, headed a team of doctors from USA and Dr. Lala Jaffar District Health Officer Hayderabad, Sindh headed a team of doctors of Department of Health, Government of Sindh. While, cooked food and medical camp administrative support was provided by Institute of International Peace Leaders under supervision of Muhammad Saeed Qaimkhani, IIPL Country Director Pakistan along with IIPL team of Humanitarian Leaders including Sabeen Javaid, Sheikh Suleman, Danish, Muhammad Asif, Shabnam Khanzada.

the Life Bridge International team including Dr. Amna Buttar and Dr. Zakia Aijaz along with Dr. Lala Jaffar DHO Hayderabad, Sindh also distributed cooked food and checked patients of flood affected areas. Dr. Amna Buttar also distributed gift hampers, chocolates and biscuits into children of these flood affected families and showered a gesture of love, peace and affection for flood affected refugees. Such personalities like Dr. Amna Buttar and Dr. Lala Jaffar are pride of humanity. Institute of International Peace Leaders whole global family appreciates their services for humanity at large and for flood affected people of Pakistan specifically. Thanks to Ch. Dr Amna Buttar

Dr. Amna Buttar is an Internist and Geriatrics Hospitalist trained at university of Wisconsin, and university of Michigan. She has also done a masters in Clinical Research from University of Michigan. She has had a long career with faculty positions at University of Michigan, Indiana university, University of Wisconsin, New York university, and University of Chicago. She was Chief of Geriatrics and clinical professor of medicine at the New York university. Current appointment with university of Chicago. She has written multiple research papers, and book chapters. Her expertise is geriatrics and global health. Volunteer advisor to Life Bridge USA – international disaster relief organization.
